Jean COCTEAU for GDA in Limoges. Porcelain ASSIETTE decorated with the cockerel with the Phrygian cap and the menu for the fourteenth dinner given at Taillevent for the Traditions et Qualité association. D. 24.3 cm.
The rooster on our plate was sketched by Jean Cocteau in 1959 on a tablecloth at Le Grand Véfour, and has remained the association's emblem ever since. (Slight wear to the gilding).
